Labatt appoints ECD at its in-house agency
Caitlin Baynton is starting a new role as executive creative director at DraftLine Canada, the in-house creative agency and marketing studio at Labatt Breweries.
Baynton has spent the past four years as a creative director at the shop, supporting campaign work for the Stella Artois and Corona brands. In the newly created ECD role, she’ll report to Becky Lindsay, Labatt’s head of connections.
Before joining DraftLine, Baynton worked at Oliver for three-plus years in associate creative director, creative director and senior creative director roles. Prior, from August 2016 to May 2019, she was a senior art director with 6Degrees where she led campaigns across shopper, digital and XM.

Superside hires GCD
Jon Lane has joined Superside as a group creative director.
Based in Toronto, Lane will lead global creative teams and client partnerships across integrated campaigns, brand strategy, advertising, digital, social, experiential and AI-enabled creative.
Lane joins Superside after a year and a half as group creative director at Church+State and an 11-month stint as creative director at Salt XC. He previously spent more than five years at Public Inc. as a creative director and the agency’s head of art.
Based in Delaware, Superside is global creative company was a focus on AI-powered services built to support in-house marketing team.
Target adds an ACD
Lindsay Hepburn has joined Target Marketing and Communications in a newly established associate creative director and design role at the St. John’s-based agency.
The agency tells strategy that Hepburn joins Jen Szilagyi (ACD, art direction) and Julia Forrester (ACD, copywriting) as part of a creative leadership trio. She previously spent four years as a designer and design director at Toronto-based creative agency Cosmic Design and before that was a production designer for close to three years at Diamond Integrated Marketing.
