Allyson Banks has joined McDonald’s Canada as a senior manager, regional marketing.

She comes to the role from Toys “R” Us, where she served as the retailer’s director of marketing for the past six years.

Agency-side, Banks formerly worked in roles including strategy supervisor, associate director of strategy and group strategy director during close to 14 years at OMD Canada and OMD International.

At the agency, she supported clients including Hasbro North America, SickKids Hospital, Mercedes-Benz and McDonald’s.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this article mistakenly refers to Banks’ position as “director.” Strategy regrets the error.
