Heads+Tales introduces VP, head of corporate comms position

Joyce Li has joined Heads+Tales under the newly created title of VP and head of corporate communications.

Li is reporting to Heads+Tales co-founders and co-CEOs Amanda Shuchat and Katie Muir, who say the role was created to support the agency’s growing corporate communications portfolio.

“It’s the first position of its kind at the agency and reflects our continued investment in expanding that side of the business,” Shuchat and Muir told strategy in a joint statement.

Li joins Heads+Tales after more than 5½ years at PR agency Talk Shop, where she worked in a number of positions, including senior account manager, director of client services and senior director.

McCann Canada bolsters CRM talent with pair of ACDs

Krista Maxsein and Tim Bickert have joined McCann Canada as associate creative directors.

Maxsein joins McCann a year after departing Publicis Hawkeye Canada, where she worked for nine years in creative supervisor, creative director and associate creative director roles.

McCann tells strategy that Maxsein’s extensive experience in CRM, built at agencies like Publicis Hawkeye, DDB Canada and BBDO, gives her a unique blend of creativity and strategic insight.

Bickert is also a former employee at Publicis Hawkeye, where he spent nearly 7½ years in senior copywriter, associate creative director and creative director roles leading CRM and integrated work across financial services, automotive, CPG, health care and technology clients.

McCann says Bickert’s experience across agency and client-side marketing will help strengthen its ability to deliver integrated, data-informed creative work for clients.
