72andSunny names chief strategy officer

Jenn Kittmer is the new chief strategy officer at 72andSunny Toronto, a role created to recognize the growth and contributions she has brought to the office over the past year, the agency says.

Julien Bissuel, CEO at 72andSunny, says Kittmer has built deep trust and strong short-hand relationships with clients and helped fast track business-driving projects since joining the shop as a group strategy director in June 2025.

“Whether driving new business pitches across our North American teams, or leading strategy for complex integrated brand campaigns like Nuveen’s ‘The Future Has Questions’ or Victim Services Toronto’s ‘No Victim Alone,’ Jenn’s brought a strategic approach that is as rigorous as it is collaborative,” Bissuel says.

Kittmer was previously employed for five-plus years at The Garden, where she held strategy director and group strategy director positions, while supporting clients such as SodaStream Canada, Jack Astor’s, Rakuten Kobo and others.

She says her day-to-day philosophy is to “take the work and the business results relentlessly seriously, but never take yourself too seriously, and never stop trying things … strategy is a creative act – and creativity requires messiness, experimentation, and a bit of play.”

“At my core, I’m a facilitator – so the stamp I’d love to leave is all about creating the conditions for creativity to be a genuine growth multiplier,” Kittmer says. “That means giving our strategists the tools and training to deeply unpack the business, consumer, and cultural dynamics at play, and helping all our teams bring an optimistic, thoughtful, and creative approach to problem-solving, shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients.”

Kittmer also previously spent more than 3½ years at John St. as a strategist and senior strategist and, before that, four years in associate marketing manager roles at General Mills Canada, where she worked across brands including Cheerios, Pizza Pops and Betty Crocker.

Earlier this year, 72andSunny Toronto hired Fernando Salvador in a GCD role and helped collaborated with Victim Services Toronto on its latest “Ask For Angela” campaign.
