Plus Company has hired Alice de Vries as its VP of marketing and communications for its network of agencies.
The collective, which includes Cossette, Citizen Relations and We Are Social, among others, says De Vries will be taking a “more integrated, client-facing approach designed to make the network’s full offering easier to understand and act on.”
She’ll be responsible for leading go-to-market strategy, marketing and communications, while leveraging capabilities such as Cossette’s creative, media and production expertise, Munvo’s martech and transformation offering, along with the network’s media tools, agentic AI and partnership with Google’s Gemini Enterprise.
“Plus Company is building an end-to-end strike force that spans across creative, media, and marketing technology, and our recent client wins show that model is working,” Plus Company Canada’s president, Mélanie Dunn, said in a release. “Alice brings the ambition and clarity to translate that into something clients actually feel, turning what a brand needs into what our whole network delivers.”
Dunn tells strategy that While the timing coincides with significant new business wins, including LCBO, Metrolinx, AGLC, McGill, SodaStream, Cabinet Office (Ontario) – the decision reflects a broader strategic priority.
“As the industry evolves, we’re investing in our own brands and expanding our capabilities to stay ahead of what’s next,” Dunn says.
De Vries joins Plus Company from Viral Nation, where she spent the past four years in a number of senior positions, most recently the agency’s EVP of go-to-market, marketing and communications.
She previously served as COO of e-commerce jewelry platform Tiary and also spent five years at Publicis Groupe U.K., where she led creative work across Procter & Gamble’s brand portfolio, along with regional innovation efforts across SEO, digital and social.
