Diamond makes CD hire
Rebecca Dunnet has joined Diamond as its new creative director.
Diamond tells strategy that the new position opened up after Darryl Graham was promoted to VP and group creative director of experiential and craft from his previous role as VP and creative director in March. Dunnet will partner with fellow creative director Sarah Deziel in the role and has already begun working on projects for the TD account.
The agency says the appointment of Dunnet, who had been working as a freelance art director for close to a decade, comes “after four years of courtship.” Beyond Diamond, she has worked on freelance assignments for agencies such as Mint, Gut, BBDO, McCann, Zulu and Cossette and supported campaigns including McDonald’s “Secret Menu Challenge,” Fairmont Hotels & Resorts “Barbie Dream Suite” and “Lay’s Cheddar Jalapeno” for PepsiCo.
In February, Jon Taylor and Andrea Romanelli also joined Diamond as creative directors.
